Sport

At Henderson Valley we are involved in basketball, swimming, hockey, netball, softball, cross country, gymnastics, athletics, soccer, rugby and touch.

This year we welcome our Kiwisport Activator Sarah Thomas onto our team.  She will be working with junior teachers on improving ball skills at Year 1-3 level, as well as helping us increase the number of children participating in sport. 

Saturday winter sports are about to start.  This year Ms Manuel is co-ordinating hockey and Mr Grant is looking after netball.  Mr Te Tai is in charge of mid-week basketball.
