Room 8- Creative Master Minds
Welcome to Room 8’s class webpage Room 8 is made up of 28 students, 11 girls and 17 boys. Miss Howard is the classroom teacher.
Room 8’s swimming days are Tuesday and Thursday. We have Bible on Wednesdays and go to the library on Thursdays. Homework Requirements: Your child should bring home a basic fact sheet to complete Monday-Thursday and get tested on Friday. The aim is for them to practise each night so they develop ability to instantly recall these facts within the 5 minute time frame. New spelling words will be given on Mondays with test on Fridays, I encourage students to practise in their own time and put their words into sentences. They will also bring home a reader or book from the library. Any extra homework given will be recorded in your child's diary. The students in Room 8 have all started the year with positive attitudes to learning and are working together well. I am looking forward to supporting them in their learning and helping them to reach their goals throughout the year.
