Inter School August 2011

August 2011, Inter School Basketball Competition.

This year saw HVS enter 2 teams in the Inter School competition at Trusts Stadium. This was a huge event, with 37 teams from schools all over West Auckland.....and HVS was ready to give it 100 percent!

With experienced support from Kristie, Vanessa, Ange and Karl, we were well prepared. The tournament couldn't have started better, with a solid win for both teams and a good amount of court time for everyone.

The day continued really well. The A team notched up another win, one hard fought draw and one tough loss. The B team finished the day with two powerful wins and two DOWN TO THE WIRE losses!

On the court the HVS players showed great sportsmanship and total commitment to the game, on the sidelines, excellent support for each other - amazing Valley Kids!

It was a fantastic day all round and I look forward to getting our teeth into the next tournament!
